Being that we live less than a mile from the ocean and a bay, the electrician has recomended that we stick with plastic exterior light fixtures. I don’t disagree with him, especiallly with cost/replacement due to salt air corrosion, but the selection is limited out here(pacific north west). can any one recommend an online source, mainly for “craftsmen style” plastic fixtures??
If no other choice, I’m stuck with powder coated aluminum and a replacement/ refinsh cost every few years.

Another option is to take the guts out of a cheap plastic unit and build a redwood or cedar shell for it.
copper and glass, it'll outlast you. Make yer own if ya can, it's not difficult stuff to play with.
