I have only used my blade for cutting marble and granite. However in the past I've used a laminate
scoring knife to start the removal process then followed up w/ a small block of wedged oak. The lam knife will chip the edges of ceramic tile if your not careful.
*Ed,I purchased the Fein multimaster about 6 months ago. I have to say that it is the best tool I have ever purchased!!!! I have used it for removing tile a number of times and it workes great. The cost of the attachments are a little pricy but they all seem to last a long time. Its funny since I have this tool now it amazing how many times a week I use it. My guys say to me "it looks like another job for the fein" and I tell you it has never failed me. My wife recently bought a maple bench with a lot of spindles on it at a garage sale, she wanted to refinish it, so she stripped it with stripper. When she started to sand it I said to her use the fein. She did not know what I was talking about, but I showed her how to use it and I tell you she had the whole bench sanded in know time. Spindles and everything. I have also used it to cut base moulding when istalling a new door, the flush cutter works grreat as well. I would recomend this tool to anyone in the trades, especially anyone that does a lot of trim work.Jon ConstantConstant Dimensions Inc.Custom Builders
*Jon, what's nice is 3 years from now, it will still be working "Fein"! My only complaint, is I have to track it down every time I need to use MY Fein Tool... seems there's a new "convert" on every job.
