Hello,
Anyone with tips to share on removing ceramic wall tile from drywall (I think). I want to remove some tiles (to make a plumming repair) and then re-install them.
My questions are:
how best to remove tiles without breakage. I figure to remove 8 tiles in the center.
how to get adhesive off back of tile so I can re-use them.
Thanks for any insight
Bob

The first tile (in the middle rather than one on an open edge) has to be sacrificed.
or, if you want to try it. Take a utility knife and cut through the drywall (after removing the grout joint). Block later and glue the whole shelonga onto the blocks.
Another nifty spot for the multimaster..........

Thanks Calvin. I like that idea.
PS are you the multimaster or is that a tool?
I've got a long way to go to achieve that status.
However, I"ve got the multimaster and yes it's a tool from Fein. A unique indespensible tool for the discerning carpenter.
