I’m curious how many tools are still made in the U.S.? I “think” both Porter Cable and Milwaukee have manufacturing plants in the US.
Are any other tools still made here, or has it all gone to China?

Yes, lots of tools are made in USA. Some brands are more likely than others to have what you need thats USA made. Milwaukee makes lots of tools here, but not all of them. Same with Porter-cable. B&D / Dewalt has been decreasing the amount of USA made stuff, but some of it still is. Even Ryobi used to have some stuff made here, but I don't know if thats the case now. Paslode and Bostich stuff is still mostly USA. Most tools that you would be looking for will have some brands/models made here. But you can't go by brand alone. You just have to keep checking labels. Usually the USA tools are the higher priced stuff though. The same goes for hand tools.
