It occurred to me today that I never introduced myself. I just came in here and started posting like I’ve been here all along.
So, I’m Bos’n. I’m a journyman electrician in Omaha, NE. I teach apprentice’s at the local ABC trade school. I have a Bachelor of Journalism (Advertising) and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. GO HUSKERS!!
I worked for the Boy Scouts for six years and got sick of the white collar world. Since I grew up in construction and my brother is an Electrical Contractor, I went to work for him. Now, seven years later, I do mostly high end remodel work in residential.
My hobbies include woodworking and wooden boats. I’m currently finishing up the attic in my house. Then I’ll get to that pile of boat lumber in the shop. I hope.
My wife and I are starting a business this year. We are combining my skills as a tradesman, her’s in leaded glass and paperwork managment and alot of willingness to get dirty. we’ll try to flip a couple of houses to build up some cash and then do some rentals. Oh, and she just started selling Mary Kay, too.
Well, that’s me. Now I just have to figure out how you guys put that extra stuff at the end of you r posts.

Welcome.
And don't worry about the stuff at the end, it's the #### in the middle that's important.
Enjoy your stay, it's a good place.

Well hey bos'n when you fill out your profile a bit there's a place in there under My Prefs called Personal Signature where you can type or copy/paste your tag line that will appear at the bottom of your posts.
Cheers
Welcome... We can always use another good electrician. Lots of Qs in that area.
As far as the signatures at the end of a post, click on your name (UNDERLINED In BLUE) and then click on "preferences". Obviously I never took the time to do anything fancy, but at the very least, it saves a few key strokes. Helps to give you an identity here beyond just your sign-on name so people recognize you.
There is a lot of kidding around here, so don't take anything too seriously.
