That is not so complicated that it takes you 2 weeks to learn it and not so expensive that it takes 2 weeks pay to pay for it .I have tried Turbo Cad it seems quite complicated . Many things I have tried have been okay for but thay turn making a simple sketch a real pain . Hope to here some great suggestions .

I am the same as you...give me something that I can use, rather than spending all my time learning.
I am now using Visio Technical and, although expensive initially, really is a no brainer. It is not a strictly cad program, but the files can be saved to a cad format (auto cad). The program allows you to grab prebuilt shapes and manipulate them as needed. I now draw up decks, bed frames, cabinets, etc. I also use it to draw up products for our watersports business.
Anyway, for what it's worth.
