I am about to tackle a bathroom remodel and there appears to be some dryrot. The project involves two back to back bathrooms and the dry rot appears in the adjoinging wall as well as into the floor. How far should I demo, what signs should I look for? I realize this is a vague question at this point, once I get further into the project I will know more. Thanks.

There is an old saying about cockroaches -- "If you've seen one, you haven't see them all." The same applies to rot. Sorry to be pessimistic, but in my limited experience, rot is always much worse than you think. Tear it apart until you find sound wood. Try to locate the source of the moisture (wood-decomposing fungi need moisture).
What Javi said...keep going to you find only sound wood. System Three up in Seattle (do a search on the internet) sells some ureabor (mispelled I'm sure) rods that can be inserted to discourage future rot but the source of the leak was probably bad contruction practices around the bathroom area. Rip and replace.
Is this around a pair of tubs?
Let's pretend it is... Odds are you will find rot spread under and behind tub(s). Pull the one that look the worst so you can access the other one from behind.
