your experience with lumbr liquidators?
I would like some feed back from installers and other custom home builders who may use or have used lumber liquidators, for red oak and bamboo especially or anyother wood flooring. what was the quality, how did it install, compared to your other distributors/ thanks Built Better Homes

Somewhat redundant, yes, but his original question wasn't answered. Appartently he was asking about a distributor named "Lumber Liquidators" and anyone's experience with them.
I've bought special lots through them a copuple times, using them as brokers. Service is not their strong point. Neither was returniung phone calls.
They have some prefinished stuff that looks pretty sloppily done but the surface coat was so hard that I doubt you'd be able to refinish as easy as some others to make it good looking.
I haven't seen there bamboo.
My overall impression is that it's a flooring place with some of the attributes of HD; cheap, no service, slim inventory. If they happen to have what you want and can open a bundle for inspection, the price is right. I wouldn't hold up a scheduled job on waiting for them to follow through pon a delivery date though.
Excellence is its own reward!
