Black roofing sealant is a notoriously difficult goo to apply in a tidy manner to an asphalt-shingle roof. And if the sealant has to be used in a prominent place, it can be pretty unsightly. The next time this problem comes up, take a look in the gutters to see if there are deposits of gravel from the shingles. Collect a handful of gravel, and dust it over the fresh sealant. It will blend the patch with the roof and protect the sealant from the elements.

Or just buy matching granules.
great idea,,,,thanks
I've never heard of being able to buy matching granules. How would you match up the granules? The shingles are usually a mix of different colors.
EPDM Liquid Rubber can be applied directly to virtually any surface without the need for the primer. As the slow cure process progresses you will discover that it conforms to any shape vertical or horizontal and when fully cured will produce a smooth seamless surface. Finally an end to seam repair. No longer will you need to worry about inspecting your seams.
