Here’s a way to solve a problem—getting around muddy building sites without creating a mess—with two materials destined for landfills. As shown in the drawing at left, I make sections of tambour walkways out of salvaged deck boards and aging fire hose culled by our local fire department. I screw the hose to the underside of each board with 1-in. neoprene washerhead screws. I let the hoses run long at one end so that adjoining sections can be attached to one another.

very good. I used this sames design at "The Inn by the Sea" in Cape Elizabeth, Maine to access the beach because the DEP wouldn't allow a fixed structure. During storms it washes up, and can be put back. Used a poly-web "tape", and left a gap between blanks for width of decking to allow for rolling, also helps for curves.
I expect that I may use this hint at my water-access-only property to get materials from the shore to a worksite somewhat inland. Thanks . . .
