Malco is now offering its standard aviation snips is an even wider selection with the introduction of the Max2000 Classic that features a traditional grip style.
The Max2000 employs what Malco describes as Euro-styled ergonomic handle. The grips are textured, solid-colored, molded thermoplastic and feature finger stops with a narrow handle opening to fit any size hand. The thumb-operated handle latch is designed for ambidextrous use and the compression spring is replaceable.
The new Max2000 Classic features a wider handle opening and retro-inspired styling. Flexible, two-colored, molded PVC grips and stops, a side-operated handle latch and a torsion-style spring.
Both the Max2000 and Max2000 Classic feature hardened blade edges with a 1 3/8-in. cut length. Malco states the linkages are riveted to prevent rattles or loosening. The pivot bolt is adjustable and features a locking nut to hold adjustments. Both versions are offered in right, left and conbination versions for six total models.
