Good design is critical in every space in a home, not only the “great room” or master bedroom suite. Designs that work well for everyday spaces are just as, if not more, important. With two little boys this family of four does a lot of laundry. Enclosing the machines with a counter space makes this space more cohesive and useful. A “slop sink” and colorful tiles round out the space.
