The historic Lady Pepperell House in Kittery, Maine is a study in Colonial elegance, and one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the nation. Built in 1760 the house represents sophistication in early American design as seen in this photo of the entry foyer. Today the house is privately owned but opened to the public several times a year.
