Cool Pool

This South Carolina watering hole was designed to offer the feel of an Italian villa.

Summer is here and folks everywhere are looking for ways to beat the heat. This cool-looking pool at a house I shot in Hilton Head, South Carolina, seems like an ideal spot to do just that. Designed by Group Three Architects of Hilton Head, the house resembles an Italian villa, so the pool needed to be consistent with that aesthetic. Surrounded by a limestone deck and situated right on the water, it’s a delightful and refreshing place to escape the midsummer heat and humidity.
