Architect Jeremiah Eck created a dramatic and inviting entrance to this cool lakefront house in Maine that he designed. Approaching the house, the lake is visible through the entrance and draws one in with a sense of anticipation. The entrance foyer is dramatic, warm and welcoming, with handsomely crafted wood paneling on walls and ceiling. The joinery on the wood panels and the blend of wood species is particularly nice, suggesting a sophisticated yet rustic aesthetic. Nicely done!
