Can I use this 3/4″ compression fitting with my in-line water filter?

I have one of the $35 GE in-line water filters installed on the 3/4″ water line just after it enters the house.
When I recently changed it’s cartridge filter it began leaking from one of it’s 3/4″ Sharkbyte compression fittings. This is common with these filters but in this case I’m concerned about tightening it to try to stop the leak because the filter’s housing and threads are plastic.
When I installed it all I could find for fittings were Sharkbytes, but I’ve found them very hard to remove in cramped spaces. I’m thinking of replacing the leaking connection with a typical compression fitting.
I have found these (see photo) fittings on-line but I’m not sure if I can use them. They are described as “3/4 NPT X 3/4 Tube Compression Fitting”.
Can I replace the leaking Sharkbyte fitting with one of these?
OR, any ideas on stopping the one drip per second leak while leaving the Sharkbyte on? (I’m hoping the leak will ‘seal’ due to the hard water but I’m not counting on it. It’s been about 5 days now.)
Thanks
I’ve been using these filters for probably 20 years now and have gotten used to various leaks that come and go. So far it’s been worth it.

That fitting's fine.
No problem
Thanks.
It was the NPT in the description that made me wonder. It looked OK to me but I wasn't sure.
NPT: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_pipe_thread
National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) is a U.S. standard for tapered threads used on threaded pipes and fittings.
yes, you can use compression fittings.
sharkbites unreliable?????? say it aint so!!!
look at other same material compressions for smaller lines. poly compressions will keep you from over tightening.
It's not that Sharkbytes are not reliable, moreso they are very difficult to remove in situations where you can't get to them at the right angle.
