Has anyone had experience using composite footing pads with 6×6 piers (see https://footingpad.com) instead of concrete footings? I’m thinking about using them for a remote cabin, where hauling in concrete would be difficult.

I haven't used them but I see they are code approved so I probably would. In a situation like yours, they would seem to be perfect. Use some Sika Fence post foam around them to keep them in place. Construction technology at its best!
