I have used Lutron Radio Ra in the past and been happy with everything except price and the banks of switches which look unprofessional.

I’d strongly prefer a panel system like Home Works, but that is even more expensive (the last project it was quoted as a $10k add, though I have not priced it for this job yet).

I have been warned off other lighting systems (e.g.: Control 4) in the past, but for my current new construction project I definitely will have a system and am looking for advice from builders who have recently installed systems in a large house and been pleased with the result.

What I want to control is lighting and shades, anything else is gravy, and the keypads themselves must have a high quality look and it must be a hardwired system, not wireless.

Any experiences you can share?
