There's a Better Way: Small-Scale Drywall Texturing

For quick texture touch-ups, grab a plastic bottle, some joint compound, and an air gun

If you need to add or touch up the texture on a small section of finished drywall, don't bring out the big guns. As Fine Homebuilding's Chuck Miller demonstrates in a tip submitted by Don Mathis of Macomb, Ill., all you need is a small plastic bottle equipped with a nozzle, some thinned drywall mud, and an air gun.
