Rows and rows of ripened pumpkins signal the imminent arrival of Autumn on this farm in northern Maine. Throughout the country folks are preparing for the winter season by closing up summer cottages, or tightening up their houses in anticipation of colder weather. Some look forward to winter while others dread it, but it will be coming nonetheless and preparations are certainly in order. During the last few beautiful days of Autumn is a great time to get our houses ready and enjoy being outdoors before winter sets in….
