A Master Suite With a Luxurious Bath
Stunning finish materials transform the master bath into a spa-like experience.
I’ve wanted to build a wet room and luxurious master bathroom on one of our projects for a while and this house was the perfect opportunity. In an earlier post I showed how we waterproofed the wet room with Schluter products. In this post, I want to show off the finish materials we chose. Gretchen picked out the tile for this room: For the wet room walls and bathroom floor she selected porcelain tiles that have a marble look—a cost-effective way to achieve the aesthetic we wanted without sacrificing durability. The floor of the wet room has a traditional visual pattern, but the actual layout of the tiles is more intricate and visually interesting than you might notice with a passing glance.
